our suite, a garden view junior suite, offered ample space. housekeeping was fast. the resort had many activities available. there were many restaurants to choose from.

i did notice that the suite i rented had another door inside, leading to another suite. the door was locked, but it felt a little strange.

i found the food consistently good to great. many activities were available. the mall shuttle was a good perk (i used it a few times). the kids club was top notch.

the hotel facilities required golf cart transport. going to breakfast or the swimming pool needed a cart and it was often late (i waited about 15 minutes). this was a disadvantage.

the buggy service was unreliable. i walked considerable distances under the sun because the drivers wouldn't stop, claiming they were going elsewhere (i found this particularly frustrating). also, the checkout process felt pushy. staff repeatedly called about vacating the room, even though i was not late. they even sent someone for luggage collection.

the staff provided excellent service. lakshan, azan, wissam, and delia were especially helpful. the hotel offers multiple entertainment options. i saw peacocks and fishes in the pond.

the peacock was noisy so i couldn't sleep well. food was expensive, and talabat wasn't allowed. the bathroom sink wasn't reachable by kids. the pool and waterpark were very crowded. there were no restrictions on the number of kids there.

the selection of restaurants were good and catered to everyone. breakfast was great at la fontana with a tasty range of food. the grounds are maintained beautifully. all pools were heated and there were enough loungers near each pool and at the beach.

the resort is a bit far from the city center and other attractions.

i returned from a seven-night stay. our room had a huge bed and fold-out beds in a separate living area for the children. two bathrooms and two balconies also featured in the room. our housekeeper, ashok, kept the room very clean and even made towel swans that the kids loved.

some a la carte options are not included in the all inclusive package. it would be nice to see a wider range of choices covered under the all-inclusive deal. this is a minor point, though..
